Here at Alchemy Hair Salon we understand things come up, and there are those emergency situations and we will work with everyone. But missed appointments & late cancellations having unfortunately been happening more and more this can cause great financial loss & waste valuable time that we could be devoting to other clients who could have been placed at that appointment time. Effective as of January 1st 2025 RESCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS: If you book an appointment in advance, appointments can only be RESCHEDULED ONCE. If you don't know if you can definitely keep your appointment that you book in advance then we request that you phone the salon 519-443-8488 and talk to a stylist in person. We then can tell you when we have availability. Facebook, Instagram messages will NOT be answered for rescheduling or cancellation of appointments. Failure to follow this procedure will fall under our CANCELLATION POLICY. CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that all cancellations of hair colour appointments will require at least 24 HOURS notice by either cancelling with the online booking or by phone 519-443-8488. Hair cut appointments will require 24 HOURS notice by either cancelling with the online booking or by phone 519-443-8488. Late cancellation fees of 50% of your hair colour appointment total will be added to your profile. Late cancellation fees of 25% of your hair cut appointment will be added on to your profile. In order to rebook in the future, this fee will need to be paid in full if this is a continuous occurrence an active credit card will be required on file at all times. LATE ARRIVALS If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, this may result in a shortened service or an appointment cancellation all together. If you show up late and we no longer have enough time to perform the full scheduled service. This could result in a cancellation fee. (Please note, gift cards CANNOT be used to pay late fees or no shows fees. These can be paid for by debit, credit and cash only.) RETURNS All items and gift cards sold are final sale. In the case that something is defective, we will provide a new item at no cost. In the event that an allergic reaction occurs, we will provide an alternative product / exchange. NO REFUNDS will be given at any time. All discounted / clearance items are final sale. No exchanges will be provided on clearance items. CHILDREN We ask that anyone under the age of 16 MUST have a parent or guardian at the appointment or consultation with them. We will not chance any confusion in the conversation about the appointment. Parents who want a say in their child’s cuts or colours need to be present or the appointment/consultation or appointment could be cancelled.
